If you hear a grinding or groaning noise while your vehicle is rolling, it might have a worn out wheel bearing. A worn bearing can allow the wheel to wobble, creating a host of other issues. To save yourself from more headaches down the road, replace your bearing right away. For solid rear axles, you’ll need to replace the axle seal too. This video shows you how to install a new TRQ wheel bearing and axle seal on your 1988-2002 GMC K1500.

Heather Morgan says:

Where can I find the torque specifications for that 8mm bolt holding that locking pin in. Have a 95 chevy c1500 don't have the owners manual for it

Michael Kehl says:

I have a Chevy C1500, 200,000 mi, showing some sign of seals giving out. Do you have to replace bearings also, or only if they're showing damage? Differential's always been well cared for, drained on schedule.

Zack's Gears & Games says:

Great video. I have been a tech for 10 years and I have honestly never had to do a bearing, just a seal. Didn't know you could get that attachment for the slide hammer. looks like I will be talking with snap-on this week lol

Your video was really good except for you left out the part about removing all the breaks which is a major deal for some people
