Do you have a video of how to replace a 07 Tahoe spark plug? Would be of great use to me
should i disconnect the battery before doing this?
You may want to check to see if it's getting spark.
I have a 93 gmc sierra 1500 v6 it cranks but it doesn't turn on I changed the fuel relay but is still doesn't turn on I sprayed starting fluid wont work I checked the fuel injectors and they do work can it be the distributor and rotor wires?
If the code is coming up as a coil, it is mostly going to be related with a bad coil.
hey.. i have a 2004 sierra ignition coil code is reading on the code reader but also i have found that shes jumping shifting out of first gear and reving shift into second but if i give her more acceration on start off she do not do it….. could a coil cause this.. also i changed my tranny fuild and there is so signs of metal! thanks
If the converter is bad we recommend replacing them. If you have a bad one, it will usually trip the check engine light.
I heard something about ''cleaning'' your catalytic converter without taking it off the vehicle. Is this really possible? If so, how do you do it and how can you tell if its bad to begin with? I own a 2000 chevy silverado with a 4.8 vortec v8 and the longer I drive it, the more it skips and misfires. For example, if I drive it say 20 miles, it doesn't do too bad but if I drive it 100 miles it has no power at all. Any suggestions? Thanks.
your vid's are great. Ty so much for posting
We are not aware of any horsepower gains by doing this. You would need to check with the aftermarket supplier of the coils that are posting these claims.
You will have to test each coil. There are several different ways to test the coil but doing a quick google search will help you in determining which one is bad.
I'm not sure where the best place to install one would be on that vehicle. You could try to ask the guys on a car audio forum. They tend to do quite a bit with alarms too. Hope this helps you out. Have a great day.
@polo817tx There may not be any spark going to the spark plugs.
@punaniLIQUOR808 The engine coil on your Chevy Silverado sends spark the the spart plugs.
what is this for?
