We recommend matching the features that your mirrors currently have to the features of the tow mirrors, so that they plug right into the factory harness with no modification and function correctly. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393

I have stock mirrors with just the power feature not the turn signal or heater function on my 07 silverado new body style. Is adding a tow mirror like this one with the trun signal and heater option difficult? I heard there are two harnesses back there and one is not being used right now and I just have to plug in to it and im good to go. Got any info on this?

1aauto says:

Yes they should plug right into your existing harness.

ElJefe7771 says:

are the mirrors just plug-and-play

1aauto says:

The mounting surface is more than likely different on the newer trucks.

does anybody khow if the new chevy model trucks rear view mirrors fit chevys from 02 and 06?

1aauto says:

You may want to check with the dealer to see if just the motor is servicable on that vehicle.

great video….I have a 2007 Chevrolet Avalanche. The drivers side view mirror motor went out and it will not fold in or out any more. Do I need to replace the entire unit or just the motor that allows the mirror unit to fold in and out? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

1aauto says:

Are they heated too. If they’re power with heat we have an upgraded mirror for it. Here’s the part # on our website 1aauto.com Part Number: 1AMRP00118 If you need help you can also call our sales line 888-844-3393 as these mirrors can get a little tricky with the options that they have.

Hi i want to put some telescopic tow mirrors on a silverado 2001 1500 hd with the regular power mirrors but id like to know how to wire it could you guys help me out¿

1aauto says:

We currently do not have and auto repair video that shows that particular repair.

Ohiojeff1 says:

Do you have a vidieo on how to remove the mirror glass I have a 2001 gmc sierra the electric mirrors will not move up or in but will move out and down,Can i get behind the mirror to check gears

Tony says:

actually it’s plug and play on all the Silverados/Sierra. I had power/heat, bought the ones with the signal and they worked with no additional wiring needed.

1aauto says:

We’ll keep this in-mind if we end up having one of these trucks in the shop that we’re fixing the mirrors on.

1aauto says:

You could probably add the option and make the signals work if you found the turn signal lead inside the truck to tap the signal wire into.

I have 2010 Chevy Silverado. I was wondering if I could replace my factory mirrors (they are not tow mirrors and do not have signals in them, aren’t power folding or power heated) to mirrors just like they are now but with a signal in them? how far into the truck would i have to go to get driver and passenger side mirror signal working?

mrtandaman12 says:

Hi I was wondering if you could do an in-depth video about how to install a signal mirror on a 2010 silverado , but not the whole base of the mirror(unless you have to), just the glass part to get the signal indicator working?

-Thank You

How do you take the glass off a mirror with out taking out the whole mirror?

Tungsten23 says:

@1aauto, do the stock mirrors that fold with the signal lights in them have the same serial code as passenger side one?
