My truck is stalling on take off. From a start of when I put it in reverse.
Also smells like its running rich. I tested the TPS and its good any
thoughts? Fuel pump? EGR? every once in a while it the idle will surge
rarely, and it bucks when Im going down the road at cruse throttle, but not
constantly.
cool #1…Nothing (R) rated there…more like (Ahhh) rated…Can you come
wave your arms around my engine bay?..There’s some grease that needs to be
removed…lol #4
Only thing I can find is, blocking it off will keep the inside of the
intake cleaner, but will throw a code as you said and you can’ clear it so
thats no big deal. I honestly think it may give you a little more power but
iono .Peace.
It will throw codes if you delete the egr and not recirculate exhaust gases
back through the intake for re burning. It may run better…. I had code
problems on a 99 caddy, took the egr off, cleaned it and never had another
problem again. Previous owners ran 87 instead of premium and it carboned
up.
If it takes to much longer I’m going to have to buy a new one. I bet the
day after I get it installed I will find a great used one! That’s how it
rolls around here !
so douglas did you get it fixed?im asking cause mine is doing that exact
thing and I cant figure it out
