2021 GMC Sierra AT4 passenger side (right) mirror — DIY replacement

Replacing this mirror was actually quite easy. I followed the GM directions (I have a PDF file if you want it) by the book. I replaced the mirror with a genuine GM part (84898871). I reused the stock black cap piece from the old mirror. I performed a function check and it all works. Make sure to get the right part # for your truck using your VIN code. I also saved over $200 by getting the mirror at dealer cost ($507 if not!).

No religious/political comments, vulgar language, and/or personal attacks allowed. This is my Channel…not your personal playground to spew insults and other trolling activities. Example would be: being a “social justice warrior”, “Mr Know-it-All”, complete ill-educated moron, and/or overt self-promotion. Bossy comments (like, “You need to do this or that”) will likely be laughed off and deleted. Hitting the “thumbs down” is actually good for my viewership…but, if you really don’t like a video, don’t watch it. Why not just grow a pair and actually leave an comment if your butt hurts? Better yet, create your own content and see how that goes for ya. Biblical quotes/preaching/condescending or sanctimonious remarks…not allowed here. Take your nasty crudeness (Mr or Mrs High & Mighty superiority complexes), drama-filled lifestyle, and fester on someone else’s Channel. If you have thin-skin or are easily offended…don’t watch my content. Your First Amendment rights do NOT apply here. Offenses I deem inappropriate will be reported to the proper agencies…and action will be taken (guaranteed!). Don’t push your luck. Bottom line, being nice/respectful/positive will go a LONG way here. Sharing DIY ideas/helping others with their builds/saving money/having fun/sparking interest with your own DIY creations is what this Channel is all about. Lastly, this is my backyard/channel…like it or leave it. There are no “bad” videos out there (you can actually learn a lot from others who do things differently or are learning). So, have FUN while your here, learn something, and make the world a better place.

Tip you could have just put the window down and held the mirror

Truth Warrior says:

You should be able to sell the damaged mirror on ebay for people that need the electrical and mechanical parts to fix their mirrors. You could probably recoup the cost of the mirror and badge!
