2015 – 2020 GMC Yukon Cabin Air Filter – How to Change Remove Replace – Replacement Location

An easy to follow DIY video tutorial on how to replace the cabin filter on a 2015 – 2020 GMC Yukon including Denali and XL.

Cabin air filters help enhance the air quality inside your vehicle, creating a healthier, more comfortable environment for you and your passengers. A properly functioning cabin air filter can stop up to 90% of dust, pollen, and spore particles from entering the GMC Yukon passenger compartment location.

WHEN SHOULD YOU CHANGE CABIN AIR FILTER ON YOUR GMC YUKON?
It is recommended that you replace your cabin air filter every 10,000 – 15,000 miles or once a year.

However, you may want to replace or change the cabin filter more often if:
-You or a frequent passenger suffers from allergies
-You or a frequent passenger has other respiratory problems
-You drive your Yukon on dirt roads or in excessively dusty conditions
-You drive your Yukon in heavily polluted areas

This video tutorial can be used to help remove, change or replace the cabin filter on the following GMC Yukon Models:

Antenna Man says:

General information was good…..much more helpful than the instructions with the filter….but the video overlooks some of the more difficult steps, mostly involved with getting that grey cover that holds the filter back in place. The author DESCRIBES that cover going back on, but doesn't show how difficult it is in cramped quarters.
