Just a quick video showing how I changed the Rear Brake Pads & Rotors on a 2016 GMC Sierra 2wd 5.3L. This would be the same for the Chevrolet Silverado, Suburban, Tahoe, Yukon, and Escalade and many other GM vehicles.

Tools needed:
13mm socket and/or wrench
18mm socket and/or wrench or breaker bar for caliper bracket bolts
You may need a large impact wrench to help remove these…
Caliper Wind back tool to push the caliper piston back in.
A ‘C’ – Clamp or Large Channel Lock Pliers tool work fine too.
Torque wrenches
Wire brushes or wire wheel on a drill
Anti-Seize
Brake grease
Thread locker
Small Sledge Hammer (may not be needed)
M10 x 1.5 Bolts to remove the rotor (may not be needed)
The torque specs I found online are:
148 ft. lbs for the caliper bracket bolts
38 ft. lbs for the caliper slide pin bolts
