Hello I need some help, I have install Yosemite and during the update
Launchpad suggest me to install Mavericks, I totally don’t understand
because I was already under Mavericks… can someone help me, please? Just
wanted to add that I am on a 2011 Macbook Pro 15 inches.

I have installed OS X Yosemite on my 2 computers. One is working fine but
the other doesn’t show any audio output devices and can’t change the sound
effects also. The startup sound is still there. I have tried few things but
nothing is working for me.
I don’t want to backup the data and reinstall because I have some important

Where have I gone wrong? I followed all the steps (correctly I think)
When my computer boots I press F12 to select boot device. I select the USB
stick and it just brings me to a screen saying
‘Reboot and select proper boot device’

can’t find mach_kernel. This is absolutely pathetic.
to many folders and files command lines being moved around, the chance of
something going wrong is big, even if you mis a capped letter, you can mess
up the line, great to see it working in a hackintosh, i think apple should
allow osx to be installer on supported pc hardware, but right now they dont
went about all the things you said. i’m stuck on a grey screen while
booting up after installation. any suggestion would be appreciated.
I get an error saying “/System/Library/Extensions/FakeSMC.kext failed to
load – (libkern/kext) authentication failure (file ownership/permissions).
Any help anybody ??

I made the USB like you said but on my i7 4770k and z87 mobo it gives me

notebook Lenovo G50-70. I am trying to use your method to install 10.9.4
and is not possible.
I wonder if it is possible to Hackintosh on this notebook? Load Clover and
put the kext -s bootflags-dev-mode = 1 but then the screen stays black, but
I see this light blinking usb. Can you help me? I do wrong? Thank you

Another easy way to find the USB you made is to eject both and reinsert the
USB. Easy right?

su stands for switch user not super user. When no argument are provided you
switch to being the root user. Also, you can use tab completion in the bash
shell that you get as a result of the -s flag.

Yosemite but I get stuck on the installer because it says I am not running
the GUID Partition Table Scheme, I am also unable to change the current
partition options. Do you have any tips or advice?

TO CONNECT OTHER WIN-NTFS HDDs AND SEE THEM IN OSX ?
I have a nice system that is on one of my HDDs based on Win7Ultimate and
would like to keep that one and install OSX Hack on other drive so I can
switch between them… But I would need to access my files from NTFS Win
HDDs … Will it recognize or do I need to reformat or what to get OSX
Hackintosh to see them ?

By the time you actually get to installing the Yosemite Developer Preview
you could’ve saved up and bought an actual mac and save 15 percent or more
on car insurance.

How to download the OS X Yosemite Installer.app without having a Mac?
Can someone get back to me on this. I got the routine pop up that a new
update for Adobe Flash is available. When selecting my OS, there is a
choice between “Mac OS X 10.6 – 10.9” or “Mac OS X (Preview build)”.
I am running the Yosemite beta and don’t know whether “preview build” means
10.10 or not.
