This says for people with no developer account, but the Mavericks installer always aborts because it says the ID doesn’t match with a developer account or something. What am I missing?

Do I need Mountain Lion to install this? I have 10.6.8 only.

You said “Golden Master” in title, but you present us the developer previews. The Golden Master version is the final version, but they keep it for about 2-3 weeks for the last test, before releasing.

I am having this exact same problem, however the last one I updated is DP 5 (the one that says recommended for all users running Mavericks Developer Preview 4). Did you find a solution?

Tilal Abubakr says:

1- If I followed this very steps and did install it on top of my ML, can I later upgrade to a legit version when its officially released without loosing my data ?????????????????????

2- When I download DP1, must I update to DP8 by downloading it from the link u provided and set it up OR I can normally use AppStore SW update ??????????????????????????

Michael McGrath says:

QuisBlog says:

cheers bro do you know when the final version is going to be released?

Jake Bowen says:

Hopefully someone can help me out with this.

I installed Developer Preview 1 on a Virtual Machine. Through the Mac App store I updated it to developer preview 4. The Mac App store reflects that there are no more updates and everything is up to date. Does anyone know why I can’t update to Developer Preview 5, then 6, 7, 8 etc? I can’t figure out how to get the OS past Preview 4.

Fábio Oliveira says:

I can’t install DP7 after installing DP1 either, I’m getting this error message: OSXUpd10.9Patch can’t be installed on this disk. This system doesn’t meet the file content requirements. Any clues?
