This is an in depth video showing how to completely diagnose and fix problems with the z55 Autoride suspension system, which uses Electronic Suspension Control, found in many full-sized Chevrolet/GMC SUVs and trucks including Escalade, Tahoe, Yukon, Suburban, Avalanche, Silverado, and Sierra. In this video I show you how to determine if your Air Compressor is functioning and how to replace it. I also show how to determine if your air shocks are leaking and how to replace them if they are.

Had the same problem on my 2007 Denali. Fixed a blown main comp fuse, shocks, and compressor. All other fuses and the relay were good. The compressor never turned on even after disconnecting and reconnecting the battery.
Well, 3 months prior I installed a 3 inch suspension lift and found the 2 alc sensors on the suspension arms were angled too low and i had to make an extension for the arms. That did the trick for me. Old compressor ran after lift install because the old shocks leaked air constantly till the compressor failed.
If the new compressor doesn't auto run, something is wrong somewhere.
