I misspeak at the front of the video, the torx bit needed is a T30, not ’35mm’ like I said.
In this video I show how I removed and replaced front hub bearing and axle nut on my 2018 Chevy Colorado Z71 4WD with the 3.6L. This is a detailed video on the steps I took and how I resolved any issues I ran into. It also briefly touches on how to remove the CV Axle, although that part isn’t detailed, just discussed. A bad hub bearing can lead to Abs codes, or a grumbling/growling sound from the wheels, especially when turning.
I assume this method would be the same for all 2nd gen (2015-2022) Colorados, GMC Canyons, and maybe even many AWD/FWD vehicles, assuming differing clearances and socket sizes. Verify application for your vehicle.
