Product description:
Designed to take the guesswork out of knowing what size wrench to use: 8mm? 5/16? Pliers? No!!!
Simply use a 1/4″ drive ratchet to install or remove the Better Battery Bolt! No socket or open wrench required!
Standard 3/8″ x 16 thread.
The additional design feature is a larger stud (7/8″) for jumper cables. The studs are ribbed to allow the jumper cables to “bite” and not slip off.
Side Post Terminal “Better” Battery Bolt GM AC Delco Chevy Buick Cadillac Pontiac Saturn (1 pair) 19115561.
Direct replacement for GM vehicles with side post battery terminals. Fits securely in stock rubber boot.

my fix for gm side terminals, convert to top post. lol.

Peter Windle says:

I replaced mine with two bolts, each with a nut to space out the head of the bolt from the rubber surround, so I can easily remove the bolt and charge the battery, if need be.

Yep purchased and gave you props!

I see a few issues with this, one its long (easy to short without a cover), two the potential to strip the actual batter hole is greater since its longer and you can put more force then needed. The battery female hole is very weak. Other issue is the metal quality this thing is made of, doesn't look good. Long term that could lead to a drop in voltage as the metal degrades.

Thats a great idea..
