GM parts are a incredibly difficult to get. My car was at a dealer for severe oil leaks and they had to wait a week to get some seals and gaskets. Thankfully they gave me a car for the week. A customer of mine has been waiting for over two months for the intercooler to be replaced in his Silverado with the 6 cylinder Duramax.

Another great job and video! Great recovery on the lack of available parts. Are there any companies in your area that treat newer vehicles to keep them from rusting so quickly? I know the manufacturers could build them to prevent them from rusting out but then no one would need to buy new trucks. You would think it would be a good business (corrosion protection) to add to a lub station.

Another super job John! In a way, you ordering the wrong rockers that were available, verses the right ones that were not in stock anywhere, actually worked out better for getting this job done. That little trimming and splicing them shorter was still in the acceptable range of work. Sometimes we have to get lucky that way!

Your channel is super helpful, because of your great down-to-earth attitude and pleasant demeanor ive found it very easy to absorb your videos and gain enough confidence to now commit to working on a 2003 Suburban.

Have you ever considered teaching at a local community college?

Thank you!
