How to FIX (not replace) Stepper motors in 2002-2007 GM Truck Instrument Cluster

Applies to all models 2002(?), 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006 and 2007 of Chevy Avalanche, Silverado, Tahoe, and Suburban, GMC Yukon and Sierra, Hummer H2, Cadillac Escalade and Escalade SUT. Basically everything….

Post-Test update: the motor for the Oil pressure sensor is functioning much better, but I was lazier about the Speedo one. If I had applied the same treatment to the Speedo stepper I’m sure it would have worked. I already ordered the replacements and I’ll just throw one in there, as it’s much easier of a job.

The PRNDL treatment worked like a charm, even though I didn’t show it, I should add that getting rid of Mararget Thatcher’s unleaded solder™️ made it work like a charm.

Haha, I am absolutely the same. Sure the parts are $10 and will be here in the morning, but I'm going to tear it apart and fix it this evening. Love seeing someone else get more in depth.
Appreciate the video, Absolutely earned a sub from me.
