How to fix Heated/Cooled Seats in GM Vehicles. Escalade, Tahoe, Suburban, Yukon, Denali

This is a video of my 2010 Cadillac Escalade ESV that I bought with non working heated and cooling from seats. This is a common issue with most GM vehicles including Cadillac, Buick, Chevrolet, GMC and models such as Escalade, Yukon, Denali, Suburban, Tahoe, SIlverado, DTS, STS, Sierra, SRX and so on.

This video shows you the #1 issue with these vehicles and the usual cause for why they wont work, and how to do a simple fix to get them working again. It is not the best repair but it will work until you can get the correct new parts or to just ride it out.

I have a 2013 platinum hybrid. Heat and cool cup holders work but the cool seats don’t. And I don’t see that module under my front seats to check. Any idea?

MERCEDESBENZS600 BASH says:

I wish you would've showed us exactly how you cleaned it and what it looked like after you cleaned it,but the video is still appreciated…

alexandre MIGNOT says:

I have the same problem. It was the ground wire. He burned. Inside the module. I cleaned up. It works perfectly. Thanks

pontiachotshot says:

Did you have to take both modules off both front seat bottoms ? Cause each seat has a series of modules and plugs

Bobby Rebussini says:

Damn that's cooked! my driver heated/cooled isn't working. I'm gonna try this later today. Did your cooled seat work?

M G says:
