How to Find KEY resistance in GM PASSKEY Chip for KEY REPLACEMENT VATS  PASSKEY BYPASS

You need to know the resistance of the chip in the key when replacing the key or adding a inline resistor to bypass the key when the anti theft system is not working correctly. You can also reprogram the PCM and delete the system, Which I can do

Very big help for friend's 96 Buick Regal that he just bought and then wouldn't start. Unplugged the two small white wires going up the steering column that read the resistance in the key, inserted resistors equivalent to the key resistance into the side of the connector going to the VATS and bingo, no more starting problems. The two white wires got frayed at the ignition switch from repeated turns of the key. This way the VATS is always reading the correct resistance. Read about the two white wires here:

I lost my key and no way in shape, form or fashion will I ever pay or nore can I afford a key or ignition switch so I've decided to go this route and found an equation and knockout in the back of my owner's warranty manual 39K7 20/MO.. Someone please help cause I'm going with #11 but idk cause idk how the sovle that equation

My security light blinks,,,I just bought a 15 resistor Bypass kit,,,,I tested both of my keys,,, they Both read 890,,,,I used the 900 resistor in the kit,,and my security light still blinks and it won't start,,,, I'm out of ideas…..

I have 2 keys, 1 with the knock out still inside the keyring part. Both don't have any visible numbers on them. Do they get the key number from results of the ohm's?
