cbrSpeedster1 says:

Is it as simple as pulling the limited slip diff and reinstalling the posi unit?
Can I use the old shims or does it need to be reset? Thanks

Gboi_82_LsX says:

I have a question for my Monte Carlo would I need to remove the small piston gear or leave it in and just remove the diff and swap it in nd bolt everything back up ?

Robert Wilson says:

Nice job and video. The reason I'm here is because I'm getting this done to my 2000 Chevy S-10. 2.20 w/5 speed manual. Great little truck, but least little slick or mud etc; especially moving upgrade, the traction terrible. Whats a reasonable shop price – turn key job with parts going to run – estimate please.

jimmy ramirez says:

What the price to install posi unit.

Benjamin Israel says:

Jonah Garcia says:

J J says:

I have a 92 C1500 4.3 liter V6 5 speed manual I'm having problems finding the correct rear yolk & pinion seal also a cover plate with a refill plug for my rear differential because because the refill plug on the differential is completely seized up and I've tried everything getting it loose I cannot get any help and I'm disabled on a fixed income just wish I had help. I noticed dozens of people on YouTube having the same issues I'm having I'm a YouTube mechanic , I even got 2 separate books for the truck and still no luck.

Dick Hertz says:

Don't you want to check your backlash before and try and match it with the new diff?

Jay Kay says:

Fogs

Fear of getting stuck

Bossman Johnson says:

Question…so i can do this to my box chevy to get posi traction instead of buying a whole rear end assembly?

Fred says:

What manual transmission and differential oil does it take? I have a Chevrolet Cheyenne pickup year 1995, 305 tbi 5.0-liter 8-cylinder engine, 238 thousand kilometers and I don't have the vehicle manual, they are the same models from 1988 to 1995

Max love says:
