Here is how to bypass the Factory Bose Amp In GM Vehicles. This does not work in every vehicle made by gm that has bose and does not cover all years or models of bose. GM changed the systems many many different times and had a ton of different options.
Here are the harnesses that will work for the radios.

I did that and now my battery is draining over night
03 Yukon xl don’t have it
When I use the normal radio plug I get no sound then when I use the plug in the video I get sound but it’s very quiet and the radio has to be turned all the way up to barely hear it ?
When i do this my driver side doesn’t work any clues?
I’m trying to find that plug you’re talking about in my 02 Cadillac Escalade. I don’t see it
Like lots of folks have said…thanks…that fixed the speaker issue…give me time to research a swap out for the Bose amp…but in the meantime it give me tunes for listening to while I'm doing my research.
Bro I'm an idiot so you're going to have to explain this a little bit better I don't understand where that harness is coming from like when I pull out my stereo there's a set of wires coming out of the stereo that plug into a harness directly underneath and behind it on the right hand corner but I can't find another harness sitting back there for me to plug into I'm not sure where you're getting that other one from is that coming directly from the amp or is it the one that's underneath the cup holder before the app and I can't see where the wires are coming from in your video so I'm not sure which ones I have to disconnect or connect
So I did this. And there’s no sound coming out of my speakers, but when I plug it in how it originally was, I have sound. Any idea?
Yea after you spend 60-180 bucks for the plug n play harness
Dude you saved my ass. My amp must be bad because this worked for me. I was going mad especially trying to install an aftermarket radio too. 2004 GMC Yukon with Bose.
I tried this but I couldn't hear my door speakers anymore
Thank you for this!!
If this fixes my problem I'll be eternally grateful. update it fixed my problem with the subs not working properly. Thank you so much for this!
How u bypass the sub ? And if I do this will my speakers still work
Good idea but if anyone wants that Boss Pop sound this is not for you
My stereo doesn’t power on when I plug into the other 24 pin connector. It only powers on with the blue 24 pin connector. Super annoying because my Bose amp is dead
Thanks! Saved me a big headache! I had already gone through everything and I was just about to attempt hotwiring my way around the amp! And instead…BAMM! ✨️ DONE!
SIncerely, thank you!!
I did this in my Yukon with the Bose system and the tweeter’s are not working now. Any idea how to get them back? Thanks for any advice.
Worked on our 800 suburban. Thank you!
Lol. That’s not hot that works bro. That harness goes through the factory amp
Could this work with the factory radio? I believe my amp is bad there is no sound only until it warms up
I needed this thanks
Thank you for the help! Saved me some money!!
I have a 2006 with the Bose system and just deleted the center console for a jump seat. I have the amp and factory sub laying on the floorboard and it’s hideous. Would this work with the factory radio? I want this shit out of my floorboard.
No, I didn't get any response. The Amp drains my battery so now I pull the Amp fuse if the truck is going to be parked for a while.
This got rid of a terrible whine in the speakers for me. THANK YOU! 2005 Silverado factory Bose w Kenwood aftermarket head unit.
The bypass worked for me but then I could barely hear the radio even though it was turned up all the way; anyone have any suggestions?
