Hey which terrain is it
GM needs to be shot! Piss poor vehicles such as Cruze, Malibu, Spark, Encore, Acadia, Cobalt, Sonic & now Silverado's, Equinox & Terrain. If they closed the Mexico & Korea plants maybe they will have a slight chance lol
I like my 2001 GM half ton 4×4 with 4.8 motor. Terrific.
And my Tacoma needed 2 ac compressors and a the clutch failed at 120,000 miles. No, not worn out. Uh rea, don't forget it needed a new frame under the recall. Did GM build that too?
great advice as usual but apparently there are consumers out there not listening…..they are getting schooled on being screwed because they buy into these new cars of low build quality. Maybe they will remember the screwing they get????
Rivian is backed by Saudi money it may not fail.
The bolt stayed on the frame while being transported to the US. It fell off at the factory in the USA. So GM got exactly what they paid for.
I said 'goodbye' to GM in the 1980s.

I have a Chevy Cruze 2018.
This car has been complete garbage from the beginning.
I will never buy a GM product again.
Scotty is forgetting that there are many Teslas on the road now its been years. Yes they have fit and finish problems and software issues but people will live with that if they are buying in to the future. If you have that kind of money it's not so much of an issue. You probably already own two cars. The early Japanese cars were crap it took decades to perfect them incrementally. Same for electric cars.

When I was a kid, we had a 1961 Chevy II 100 and my sister took it on a date and it got stolen. We got terrifically close to getting a Dodge Dart to replace it in 1966, but then the snow melted and they found or Chevy. I was very disappointed. But we ended up driving that car until 1970, when my sister got it and she drove it until the roof rusted out and fell into the car. I feel sorry for kids these days – there really are not choices – six different shitty little econoboxes, roll the dice.

I really would love to have an FJ Cruiser, I love the design of them and even though they are gas hogs I would like one for the winter and they will outlast anything that jeep has
I still drive a 92 Ford F-150, last year we put a Jasper replacement engine in it and I plan to drive it long into retirement.
Scotty, is there a benefit to use synthetic oil over regular oil as long as I do it according to the manual? Actually, I change my oil every 5000 miles.
The only part I dont agree with you on is the "get rid of it" part. In this market you buy a car for 30k and they want to give you 3 to 5k trade in value. If I would have just kept all my cars Id have an awesome collection and plenty of "project cars" to do whatever I want with.

To the gentleman with the 2010 Camry, he might check the vehicle speed sensor. I had a 2002 Camry that would seem like it's slipping into neutral and would Rev up really high and then go back to normal. Started as a once in a while thing and then eventually happened all the time. Thought my transmission was going out but ended up just being the vehicle speed sensor – like $25 part.
