this is why woman are paid less than men in the private sector because most of the have passion fingers. "Everything they touch they F#@K. then blame the male hierarchy for it.
Only problem is people are stupid.
My dad always said if it costs more than half the price of a new car/truck to repair, then buy a new one. I can put a new engine, transmission and get a new paint job for way less than the price of a new truck. It looks like I’ll be keeping my 98 Silverado until one of us dies. She’s only given me one tough problem with the security system and she still starts every time. And I still love the look of that generation.
Same dirty trick as the oil companies. Less oil, cost goes up.

High priced JUNK
Its simple, just buy from another brand or buy a toyota and keep the vehicle for 40 years.
So instead of controlling prices, they’re shutting down production interesting it be better off if they brought their prices down on their trucks, they could still produce.
This is how companies go bankrupt.
Sell em for a price people can afford and you might sell something. At this point its not a car loan, its a mortgage.
I just went car shopping and decided to buy used. Pay a reasonable car oayment into a maintenance fund and you have a working vehicle for lot less. And it doesnt have 80 bazillion electronic components nobody wants anyway.

I'm hopefully banking on that when my lease is up in November they stand on the fence for me to buy/lease a new one again. According to the KBB of my car the depreciation is not too bad at all..
Well if we can get everyone in USA that makes USA made vehicles to get the leaders to stop letting China and other countries sale there products and merchandise and vehicles over here gmc and other USA MN ade cars would be ok

I think Scotty is advocating coordinated collective action to influence market prices to benefit the consumer… Admittedly, it's a direct reaction to the exact same behavior from truck manufacturers.

I was watching the news some of the newer Silverado owners are advised to park them outside, supposedly they have a recall on the brake system and the vehicle may catch fire.
