Could you make a video or let me know what warning lamps on the cluster should be connected on a 1985 oldsmobile cutlass supreme 3.8L. The reason I ask is because someone removed some of the lights and the only ones that light up are engine light, battery charging and the bottom left seat belt light. I know for a fact that the choke and oil pressure light should turn on when you disconnect the choke. Just having a lot off issues with engine codes left and right and can't find anyone that knows what they are doing. It's throwing a code 54, but it never did that until this dude got his hands on my car. I know for a fact he moved around the warning lamps so now I'm lost with what goes where. If you could please help. The car runs good also due to the code 54 so that's what I can't figure out. Thanks man.

I own a 1971 Buick Skylark, its a GM A body. I wish my starter was as easy to remove. Just wondering or maybe this is for the benefit of all who read this but in those cars, or maybe ONLY mine, they had a ninja bolt. It was a tiny 1/2" short hidden bolt on top of the starter. Just wondering if you knew why GM would torture people like this back then? Yes it was a very heavy starter and could kill someone if it fell on their face, but why the ninja bolt? Just curious if it serves any kind of purpose, or if it was just there so people didn't get killed when changing them out?

G.M 3×00 series engines are excellent engines if you can catch them before they overheat, installing the felpro metal intake gasket set will guarantee tons of trouble free miles from these mills.

Hey you did a good job on this video, Brian. One tip I learned is if you are in circumstances where disconnecting the battery isn't practical, you can insulate your socket with a nitrile glove, and wrap the handle with a rag to prevent arcing when disconnecting the starter wires.
