Yes, this radiator and fan combo will fit your truck if it is a 1500 (1/2-ton). We do not put the trans cooler in any of our aluminum radiators. That’s not the best solution for performance cooling, so we offer external trans coolers (which are also made in the U.S. like our radiators and fans). This provides the best cooling solution for your engine and also the best for your transmission.

I have a 2001 GMC sierra SLE ext. cab 4×4 would this product fit my truck, but my truck is an automatic transmission so that means I have to buy the transmission oil cooler. I’m confused, so do any of your aluminum radiators come with the original connections from my original radiator from the truck info. I gave you.

FlexaliteCooling says:

Sounds like you installed the fan correctly. Like the original clutch fan, our electric fan pulls the air through the radiator. This way it is not trying to push against ram air when the vehicle is driving. As for the trans cooler; we’re not quite sure how you connected it. Please call us at 253-922-2700 and we’ll try to help diagnose the issue.

i bought the same model as you have in the video (for a 2003 Silverado), it fits perfectly, easy to install, but have a question… do the fans suppose to blow air towards the engine?, I would think that the air would need to be pushed to the front thru the radiator, just like the clutch-fan. Did I install it backwards? Also, I kept the original trans oil cooler (just connected the two lines from the original radiator together) and I get a ‘transmission hot’ reading, should I put a fan on it

We make a direct fit dual-electric fan system for the ’95-’04 Toyota Tacoma. It is Flex-a-lite part number 680 and it comes with the brackets to bolt in and make it so that you can remove the belt-driven fan for better performance and fuel economy. It also includes our adjustable thermostat for fan control.

Hi, I have a 1998 Toyota Tacoma and I want it to do the twin electric fan set up just like this video. I like to what what’s the difference between the pusher and the puller?

I have done a single set up to my ’84 Toyota Celica and it is the pusher type. But I don’t understand why after running it and test driving, the temperature are rising towards the point where no one wants. A little help please.

FlexaliteCooling says:

We don’t make a direct fit for that application, but we do have radiator and fan combos that will work. You may need to drill 4 holes in the core support for our universal brackets. Visit our website to see the dimensions of the radiators that we offer.

DOMINION PIE says:

do you guys make radiators for older vehicles? such as a 1979 el camino?

FlexaliteCooling says:

It is for the 1500 series trucks as well as the fullsize GM SUV including Hummer H2.
