In this repair video we will go over how to _professionally_ repair the very common problem of a broken front drivers side armrest grab handle on GMT900 series GM SUV truck models. These armrests break / crack due to the internal plastic structure of the OEM armrest design, which over time the plastic becomes brittle and begins to fracture with just normal regular use. Particularly on the drivers side (LH side), but it can also happen on the passenger side for the same reasons.
In this video we will go over these two service procedures along the path of performing the repair:
– Removing the LH front door interior trim panel
– Reinstalling the LH front door interior trim panel
The truck illustrated is a 2013 Chevrolet Avalanche LT Z71 Black Diamond Edition, but the OE part number(s), procedure and tools shown in this video would be applicable for _any_ GMT900 style 2010 thru 2014 Cadillac Escalade, Cadillac Escalade EXT, Chevrolet Avalanche, Chevrolet Suburban, Chevrolet Tahoe, GMC Yukon, or GMC Yukon XL with this same style of inside door trim panel.
