Ford is setting up TWO different Manufacturing Companies.
One company will continue to produce the ICE powered vehicles and the other the Electric vehicles.
They're not betting their future on the F150 Lightning in any way shape or form.
They're just doing what they're being forced to do by the Government!!
They haven't been one of the top motoring manufacturers for over 100 years by accident.
I worked in the Electric Vehicle Industry in California as far back as 2012 and it's been known for years the E.V is a joke, scam, waste of valuable resources and the motoring manufacturers are literally being strong armed into having to produce these over sized R.C Cars!!
Buy something new then flip it until the craze dies – PT Cruiser.
Also electric motors have good low end torque but it does not carry linear to the high end speeds. Basically the faster the motor spins the less efficient it is. People have already done Tesla towing tests on youtube and you can see their results. And the truck became the new SUV a while ago. people aren't towing with these. They are going to Starbucks and slap/guilting people in the face with these. These will be bourgeoisie pen*ses.

My brother owns a 2017 Ford F-150 crew cab, 5.0. Range of 800 miles at 20 mpg on the highway. Of course it’s a premium fuel vehicle and holds 40 gallons. Big tires too. Not bad by my personal experience
Due to government mandates, more and more cars and trucks will be going electric.
The fact of the matter there is a huge amount of p/u truck owners that don't need to own a p/u. I work with several guys and the beds are like new. Their full time jobs involve driving transit. They will probably be first to jump on he band wagon of the E F 150 along with other truck manufacturers. The fact is you cut your fuel costs to 1/8 of that with gasoline and gasoline prices are not coming down anytime soon with the war in Ukraine. Russia is playing games and the fact is Haliburton , Schlumberger and Bakers Hughes have all pulled out of Russia. They are "THE" premier oil services companies in the world. Russia doesn't have anything to replace them. If Europe is successful or forced to do without Russian oil the fact is the pressure is going to increase in the piplines which will cause leaks and breaks which will take years to fix. Ukraine just stopped the pipeline from Russia to Europe which is a first for curtailed oil shipments since the war started. Expect gas prices to double this year. This is great news for EV's .

Made to tow crap
I went online and built an F150 Lightening just to see what price it would be if I got one with the options I wanted. I won't be buying one anytime soon. Much like all other newer vehicles, they are way too expensive.
I want to purchase a Sw20 MR2 or a C5 Corvette. Based off of reliability and the aftermarket for each car…Which one should I get? Any advice if I import the MR2 from Japan?

Question please! I have a 93 Lexus ls400 with 338,600 miles and it’s leaking oil from behind the timing cover and leaking onto the alternator and power steering pump where could it be leaking from?!?
