Is this the same Solenoid fix for 2007 F150 Code P0446 ? And is it located in the same place. Thanks

gwyzagain says:

(THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO) — Mechanic A says it's the evap canister(s). Mechanic B says it's a clogged anti-theft ping pong ball in the tank. Mechanic C (a Ford Master ASE tech) says it's a clogged screen inside the metal pipe between the filler tube hose and the tank hose; (which somehow doesn't get cleaned with oceans of gas being pumped into the tank). Lastly, mechanic D says it's a stuck vent solenoid valve. Yet, ALL methods fix the problem. WHY? Because all methods involve BANGING on ("in the area of") your fuel system, which OPENS THE STUCK VENT SOLENOID VALVE! — (Ps… If it's the evap canister, your check engine light will come on during a purge).

love your vids… not alot of auto experience. throwing code p0446 on a 2010 explorer v6 4wd. i see that you had a bit of struggle with the hoses… what are possible complications that can go wrong with this repair (if any)? also, is this repair directly related to p0446? or could it be something else?
