Wouldn't it be easier to just remove the splash guard from the fender liner?

Tommy says:

I have a '99 and you don't have to remove the wheel well to get to the upper control arms, just raise or pop out the flap out of the way.

David L says:

What happens if you tighten/torque all the bolts before weight is on the vehicle? I did that before I watched any videos it drove fine to the alignment shop, I told the sales guy to tell the mechanic but he said he would figure it out, n it all gets adjusted during the alignment anyway he said. Well I drove it home and it's pulling to the right , not real bad but definitely it's not right. Taking it back Monday to the shop. Plus it got 4 new tires.

Any information anyone can provide is appreciated. Thanks.

I have a 2000 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer 2wd. It has this 2 piece upper control arm on the passenger side as well. I wasn't aware you could change it to the 1 piece control arm. Is that a common upgrade/conversion for Explorer/Ranger vehicles? Also, would it be a good idea to install camber/caster bolt set's when replacing the control arms? Thanks in advance.

Señor Justice says:

It was not necessary to remove all that plastic…

I really hope you're still reading comments on this post, because I'm having a slight issue with my 2000 4WD Ranger. On the driver's side, everything looks normal as in the video, but on the passenger's side, there's an extra arm attached to the control arm, and I can't seem to find any information on it. I took a picture of both sides, but I don't see any way to post it. Any thoughts?

Warcdn says:

Is there supposed to be a plate on the front most passenger side where the camber bolt goes into. Said plate as shown 5:45.
Thank you.

Hello. What is the part number for the bolts and eccentric washers that you held up. Looks like a great solution but can't find it on your web site. Thank you.

I really like the two videos I watched about dealing with the torsion bar, and lower control arm. What happened to this one? seems like a different person, and poor video detail, plus dude was pretty vague on what appeared should have been important points.
