there are 2 different types of shocks…one is like in the video the upper part has a threaded bolt and some other shocks have a loop hole on each end. What are the names of the 2 types of shocks?
Why not mention size of the nuts, year model, & video of u actually changing it
Will this be the same for a 97 F250?
When removing the shock should I remove the bottom bolt or top bolt first. Or does that matter
Can i get the year / diesal or gas ?
More helpful if you declare what year range. Definitely not a '00.
Appreciate the video. I have a 2011 F-250 and was able to the remove and install the shocks without removing the wheels. There was also enough clearance to remove the nut from the top of passenger side shock coming in through the engine compartment, which gives you a lot more leverage to remove the top nut versus going through the wheel well. Rather than being compressed and needing to be extended my new shock needed to be depress using a Jack to get the bottom hole lined up with the lower bolt. I guess the installation process will very depending on model year, accessories and brand of shock being installed.

This ain't no 7.3 lol
Dude. It is worth mentioning the sizes of the nuts.
That is a steering stabilizer shock not a suspension shock. A suspension shock should self extend. You shouldn't have to pull on it.
I second what JP JP said. I was actually watching the video to see what size wrench/sockets I needed. I wanted to be lazy and just grab the exact sizes from the tool box
nice job, where do buy your shocks?
I recommend letting your viewers know what size wrenches and sockets they need early on. or in the description
Is this a 2003 f250
