Hi Clay good video ! Just did my first one and thought I would share some of my thoughts take them for what they are free.
1. Remove upper radiator hose. It's worth the 30 seconds.
2. Remove the passenger tire and wheel well. Allows access to bottom bolt with impact and wobble socket.
3. Remove top nut from stud and bottom bolt BEFORE removing the serpentine belt. The bottom bolt will come out this way.
4. Remove serpentine belt
5. Tappy tap tap the alternator towards the passenger side with a plastic dead blow hammer until free about 8 medium hits.
6. I found no reason to take out the top stud which aided greatly in reassembly.
7. Also for us 200lbs gorillas I put a pizza box lid on the radiator for protection.
Hope this helps someone it's really an easy job with these few hints added to this video . PS. No need to take off an a/c lines or anti freeze over flow jugs.

I found a video very helpful but changing the alternator and my 07 Ford Edge is little bit beyond me I'll probably have to take it to a mechanic to get it done love video though Ray

Just did this job in an o'reilly's parking lot, no need to let the frion or the coolant out. You can fanangle the alternator out/in without all the extra work, definitely recommend removing the electric fans to give yourself the extra room. Thanks for the video nonetheless, helped point me in the right direction and get my wife and kids off the road and to the hotel for the night!

How different is this from doing one on a 2014 Ford Edge Sport V6 3.7L
