I have a question if you look behind manifold passenger side behind heater hose what is the hole behind but it down a lil what goes into that hole? 99 crown victoria it is steam coming from it

Calvin King says:

Man thank you a one auto this video is awesome I just replaced a intake on a profit car I found out the intake was cracked after I purchased it when I heard something about that crack where the heater hose go into so i replaced the intake rather than sealing it and saling it to someone like that the only problem I had was the mounting bracket for the alternator did fit the new intake I think I'm going to have to drill some holes

Jimbo sammy says:

The 8th digit in my 07 Lincoln is a 'V'. Will this manifold be ok? Thanks.

Scott Starling says:

Is this a dorman intake?

John Aldrich says:

Yeah good job but somebody could’ve cleaned out the engine compartment because it looks like the owner threw a bucket of mud on it and just let it dry

Ed Norton says:

Yes outstanding presentation. When I pulled my thermostat housing off to get to the thermostat , the big o-ring for the intake runner had pushed its way more into the cross over than what was still under the intake runner. One thing I would suggest, to anyone doing this reair, If you noticed both the thermostat housing bolts were oxidized very bad. Take them to a bench grinder with a wire wheel on it and clean them up. Then take a smear of dio-electric grease and apply a very thin film on the shoulder portion of those bolts. Or the next time you try to remove them you wont. They will snap off in the lower portion of that cross over.

dntlss says:

Man i hate those fuel fittings,i am refreshing a intake and a electrical harness on a 4.6 at the moment, intake has been replaced with the proper aluminum piece but it was done by a amateur , all kinds of bolts loose, just a mess so I'm doing it again the right way and putting some new injectors, one of the fuel fittings came out fine, the other was a nightmare and i have 3 different kits to pull those devils out, if you pull one out you can actually "swing" the fuel rail out of the way but my car is much simpler than this one here, the idea of individual coils was a awful one,i have the coil packs, much more economical if something goes south and from what Ive heard on several coworkers that have cars and trucks with multiple coil packs they keep a few spares handy,a little rain here and there gets thru and your in trouble, excellent video BTW, thank you.

Francisco Ramos says:

I have one question

Felipe Sabatini says:

Steve Raymond says:

Addison Steiner says:
