For those of you struggling to get the right side off. You need to wedge a flathead or something thinner between the black and white part and pry the white part apart while simultaioniusly pushing the white pegs together
My 04' doesn't turn all the way over (why I'm changing the filter to begin with, old and ran with old gas so probably clogged up) can I get away with just siphoning out as much gas as I can? Is it going to ruin my day if theres still some in the tank?
So I don't reconnect the other side of the filter to the fuel line?
Can air get in the fuel system if you don't relieve the pressure?
What tools do I need please!

You guys are awesome! I could probably rebuild an engine if you guys had videos for it.
The procedure is easy to follow. This car is our 11th one should be able to do basic things in a car and safe money too.
