Ford fender liners are just the worst, almost impossible to get off without bending the fender because of those flares inside that hold the liner in.
Really? You don't have a trim tool? They're like $10 and come with a bunch of new clips and trim fasteners. And the best part is, you don't ruin the old ones by using the wrong tool for the job.
I removed the liner trying to get to my catalytic converter. I only tacked it back on because it's a pain in the ass to get back on.
I would suggest using plastic trim tools to remove the plastic clips or buttons. You can buy a set on Amazon or at Harbor Freight.
Mines missing that little black flappy piece that's taced onto the upper part of the liner, should I get that replaced?
Have a video with the fender flares?
Would the process be similar with an 08 F150
Do you guys have a video doing this but on an 04-08 F150?
You scratched the body work pulling the clip out
