So i had to replace the seals.. and took out the axel.. now the e locker is stuck in on mode and wont disengage.. help
Many thanks
i swear, the music sounds like the sound track from "crash bandicoot 2", level "rock it".
Music is so loud and his voice so soft.
We need help, we have a 2018 f150 ecoboost and have had the rear differential seal replaced 7 times. Its leaking again the dealership just keeps replacing the seal only for it to leak in 1 to 2 months. I have made a file with ford canada about it. Any advice as to whats actually causing this repeat issue? The truck only has 38,000km on it.
Is it the same procedure to remove the axles if I have a factory rear locker? I just need to remove my axle not change my ring and pinion.
Torque the pinion nut to the minimum torque requirement and then check it with an inch pound torque wrench with a gauge on it and slowly increase the torque of the pinion nut by 5-10 ftlbs if needed for a higher in-lb preload don’t rip it with a gun ever feel is not what works with this use a torque wrench
We’re you getting a wining sound at different speeds? Did the sound grow worse as the rear end heated up?
I really enjoyed this videos very informative
I rather run my axles loose
The star-shaped gear has a hole in it. Does anything go in there?
Is it nessesary to put shims on the spider gears ?? I bough a brand new case and pinion kit with the gears and spider gears , spider gears fit very tight , no space for shims , bought the kit from ford dealership , if i dont install the shims would i mess it up?
Y'all need to hire an audio engineer. Super informative video but the sound is atrocious.
