Hello, I have mazda tribute 2010 and my washers wont squirt any fluid. I
believe this is because there is frozen water inside the reservoir. I want
to know can i use the procedures in this video to unclog the pumps and
drain out the fluid in my 2010 mazda tribute ?

Thanks for the great video and explanation. You sure saved me a bunch of
money.

Unfortunately we do not have a video for this fix on the Taurus at this
time.

Found out pump clogged, not need replacing. pump is easy fix located under
passenger wheel well. easy 2 get 2 if u take off tire. Take off two screws
out of wheel well, pump is located where front bumper begins on passenger
side. Unhook pump wire, snaps out, pump has to be pulled out with little
force. have a pan ready 2 catch the washer fluid. pump has a screen on it
to catch things that can “gum up” with stuff just rinse the pump off, put
it back in and refill the fluid. back in business.

don’t suppose you have a video for the same thing on a Ford Taurus, 2002
range? I have seen other videos where you fix things on the Taurus so just
thought I would ask. Thanks

Thanks for visiting us on YouTube.

Alex Ginzo says:

Is this the same process if you need to know why it’s completely leaks out?
When I fill my window washer fulid all of it just pours out the bottom.
However it still works on the rear one.

Rhonda Vaughn says:

thank you! this will be our next project. we have a ford explorer, but I am
guessing the concept will be close enough!

It sounds like the reservoir has a crack in it. If it does then you would
need to replace it. 1aauto.com 888-844-3393
