I was wanting to know if you can give me any pointers because I have tried
everything I know I have a 1988 chevy g20 conversion van and the driver’s
side door the door will open but it won’t latch into place even when I slam
the door it goes into place but won’t stay shut do you have any ideas?
You may want to check the door lock actuator if it doesn’t lock with the
remote.

is the same shape but inside the door frame and houses the lock. anyone

Yo may want to take a look at the latch that grabs the striker on the door
which holds it shut. If it’s closed you may need to take a flathead
screwdriver and tap it open so that it works again. Hope this helps you

I followed your Ford Focus 00-07 outside door handle replacement and found
on my car that the handle part was not broken. The reason the door won’t
open when I pull the handle is the metal part that is pulled by the handle
is broken off. The assembly is mounted above the plastic door handle, and a
small finger extends down and is pulled by the door handle. Do you sell
this part? What is it called? ks
