My dad and I were trying to replace my headlight bulb and tried messing
with it for a few minutes before deciding to google it. This video came up
and was so concise and well done that we were able to change the headlight
in less than 5 minutes. Thank you for saving us so much time and grief! :)

Thank you very much for the instructions….easy to follow and worked
perfectly.
Found out that the plastic piece that I thought was just a protective cap
is the retaining piece. Took the bulb off and slid the old retaining piece
off and put that one on and it locked in place.
I noticed the retainer clip on the socket to the bulb is partially broken.
Glad to know I’m not the only one who broke it. A faulty design in my
opinion.
The bulb should lock right into place like the original OE one did. If you

What kind of retainer ring is needed to lock the headlight bulb into this?
The one on my harness that was on the OEM one I just took off doesn’t lock
into the Eagle Eyes one. Is it something more similar to a F4DZ-13N019-A
that is needed?

How do you move a headlight? Like on my 2000 taurus se, one of my
headlights is facing towards the ground and I hate driving at night because
of it & it is on my drivers side. My dad doesn’t know how to fix it, do you?

step-by-step thru this process for my 2001 Mercury Sable (here in Ohio, I
think you’re supposed to use your car for deer hunting!) and your video

There should be an adjusting screw on the backside of the headlight that
adjusts the light up or down, you would need to turn it to aim the beam.
Park the car 25′ away from a wall or garage door and you should see the
beam start to move as you adjust the screw.
I changed my headlight by myself for the first time with many thanks to
you! (I did have to watch the video twice.) Caroline (50 yrs old)
