Chris Kelley says:

I've got a P0340 that appeared after removing the valve cover, so I replaced the sensor and checked the wires for breaks and verified it all works with a multimeter, but the error code keeps returning. Could it be something else? The engine doesn't make any excessive noises, so I don't think it's the timing chain. It sputters sometimes from a stop.
