Ok, this is really irking me, why did you just gloss over routing the cable
through the dash? You provided extremely accurate and very detailed
information for everything else, but how to route the cable through the
dash. Almost like you guys did it already, and forgot to film it. Thanks a
lot…

Kevin ator says:

i just got a new stereo…it has a bluettoth mic…idk about using it for
phones uses….i wanna be able to talk into it & it play over my
speakers…is that possible?

Jereme Claussen says:

This was an awesome guide. I was able to install the mic in my 2006 Ford
Escape Hybrid precisely how you described. The outcome was 100x better
than I ever imagined it could be.

rcsays says:

Excellent ‘how-to.’ Thank you.

Ashleigh Nicole says:

Can anyone tell me where to plug in the mic after all this is done? , Ive
tried in the aux and in the phone.

kory bennett says:

It woukd help me a lot if you showed were you plug in or put the microphone
wire when your finished fishing it out throught the dash. But grate video

Ashley Halloran says:

do i have to install the microphone if my car has onstar and all that jazz?

Grant Martin says:

What a coincidence that your using the same car as mine… Anyway how hard
is it to route the wire through the dash board like do you stick your arm
in their and try and find it or will it pop right out

O'Neal Raymond says:

How did you pull the mic through the dash?

nithia says:

For those who are afraid of running it around the steering column or don’t
think they can I am sure you can run it across from the passenger side
a-piller and run it under the glove box up into the center. I have not done
this before though so I could be wrong.

carl G says:

From that location wont the micbe picking up audio from the speakers given
the people on the other end feedback of there own voice (an echo)

toydingo says:

Why didn’t you show the toughest part of this vid: fishing it through the
dash? I’m afraid my wire my get wrapped around the steering column by
accident while I’m driving :(

Jamison Van Rhoon says:

my headliner wont pull down like it does in this video it feels way to
tight to pull down with my hands or a pry tool so im nervous about tucking
the cable up there also how do I get the cable from the A pillar to the
head unit?

Ian McAdorey says:

I’m Holding my unit now and cant figure out where the microphone gets
plugged into on the back of it.. Help Please!

MrMikeljay says:

Thank you for the information! It’s greatly appreciated!

Pao Yang says:

Where is you’re guy location at ?

Adrian Palomino says:

Cool, my car looks nifty with the microphone above the mirror.

Yeoh425 says:

Thanks guys, great video. 52 year old broad here, with a 2005 Ford
Explorer. The only challenge I had was fishing it through to the open dash,
once I had it run over to the steering column. I went into my kitchen, and
grabbed a long thin metal skewer with a hook at the end, ran that through
the open dash, grabbed a loop on the mic wire and VOIALA!

daniel tokiwa says:

This video helped me thanks.

Colyn Perreault says:

How exactly do you get the wire from the side panel through the dash to the
head unit? It seems rather difficult

Michael Hancox says:

How do you remove the a-pillar without cracking it.

Lauren Giombetti says:

Great video! I was wondering the best location to mount this and your
explanation was awesome. Thanks!!!!

SirJaiBoog says:

great video, helps a lot!!! also, are you guys planning on making an
installation video for factory steering wheel controls for audio with an
aftermarket interface for aftermarket radio??? for example, the axxess
steering wheel control interface.

Abner Solano says:

Thank you! I got mine installed and it works great. Thank you sir!

Javier Zambrano says:

Thank You!! Your video is very helpful.

Ms_Maxxx says:

Thanks this is great! My friend Ira travels to do various car installations
for people all over Orlando and always loves to see other people in their
methods. I will refer him to your videos

ddrumsrock says:

Do they make and good mics? The ones that come with the radios are very
cheap. Other people can hear you but they can’t understand you. I good mic
would likely resolve this problem. Suggestions?

Cisco Money says:

Where is Alan. LOL

caraudioman16 says:

doesn’t matter, it would still have given us an idea.

walrus527 says:

Do you have a video of that? This one was great and helpful

Sonic Electronix says:

It would go to the back of the stereo in the center console.

Alex Lake says:

Glad I found this video, I’m doing this in a few days with my new Sony WX
GT90BT

Sonic Electronix says:

If it has the same connection as the device you plan to use, then it should
work. Most headunits themselves will not let you use it as a PA system.

LivingLimitlessly1 says:

Thank you! Great video.

Sonic Electronix says:

The device is only the microphone itself, which could technically be stolen
easily, but it is not worth the hassle to steal just the mic. Chances are
they would go for the radio itself.

caraudioman16 says:

you didn’t show us how to run it through the dash. -_-

Kaboom214 says:

Some of these questions being asked are pretty funny!

Sonic Electronix says:

We would not recommend that you do that.

stev8468 says:

so what about the side airbags can you tug the wire in or what would be the
solution

Henry Cardenas says:

how do you run the wire from the side panel to the head unit?

Mason Arakaki says:

Nice. Im trying to mount a mic in a celica.

kl says:

I want to get this installed in my car but my apartment is not a very safe
location. How easy it is for thieves to steal this bluetooth device?
