Still driving my 20 year old manual gasoline mk1 Focus that i had since new… its done 100k miles now and it really is time for a change but i won’t be buying another, the build quality is not what it was and the motors are now too stressed to last long..
You’d think products would improve over time, not go backwards..

2012-2016 Focus' and 11-16 Fiesta's, does that mean if I BUY a USED Ford model from that period, that Ford would buy it back?! OR do I have to be an original owner? I was looking to move from my '03 Ford X5 Focus to either one of those recall-buyback models.
Basic engineering design fault on the 3 cylinder engines on these Ford cars
Ford is not making many passenger cars in North America but there are allot of Ford cars here in Europe and Asia though I do not think the sells of these two markets alone will be enough to keep the company afloat.
The auto "experts" say "Americans want pickups and SUVS" but it cost $40,000-$50,000 so no wonder car sales (across the world) are down, these vehicles are too expensive for the average person to afford.
My fiesta is very reliable
Hi Scotty I have a 2000 civic EX I have changed the rear oxygen censor, ECU, the Cat, the distributor, the spark plugs, the throttle body, all the codes the car gave me. It has then given the Idle Air Control system check engine light code, ive changed that part on the throttle body 3 times and it doesn’t fix the problem only for a bit then it started driving the same, cruising at 15-25mph and or light on the throttle it sort of stubbles like it wants to shut off, it’s not misfiring either. I don’t know what’s the problem neither can my mechanic All we know is the IACS code keep popping up. The car also used to go up and down on RPMs while idle on park between 2500-4000 up and down by itself
Buyback? Jus do a free replacement of the transmission! It would cost ford less and mean the customer is of the road for less time.

Scooty , can I use R134A Refrigerant instead of R1234yf in 2018 honda civic? I had an accident and I have to refill the refrigerant , the R1234yf is very expensive
