Well Ford use to build some good vehicles.. And so did Toyota

Megapangolin says:

Great video, amazing how a manufacturer can take the mickey like that. When are the US going to go metric? Or do what us Brits do we are 50/50, buy fuel in litres and rate a car in miles per gallon…Logical or nuts?

Monte Lott says:

I recently changed the fuel regulator on a '90 f250 it was upside down which made it a joke to access the bolts holding it to the mount. So Ford has been at screwy engineering for awhile now.

Eelco Sterringa says:

Please do not insult the piggies

Str8 Profit says:

All those ford cars were garbage to work on Ford Focus, Ford F-150, Ford Taurus the list goes on and none were reliable

Chuck Hoyle says:

As an owner of a 2011 Fiesta I can agree that Ford intentionally makes that vehicle hard to work on. I just changed the transmission fluid on it and I had to to take the wheel off to do it and there is no dipstick or under-hood fill cap. There is no tension pully so it has a "slip on" serpentine belt which is an unholy pain in the a$$ to get on. One thing that is easy is changing the spark plugs. All 4 are right on top and nothing is in the way. Easy job.

Tell us what you really think of Ford engineers Scotty.

R B says:

Got an old 66 econoline. I have to take some slop out of the steering. Is it a simple screw like chevy. F no. I'm preparing for something like brain surgery to fix it.

Blake Cryderman says:

Wow, this is nostalgic for me, my parents bought an 07 Focus wagon manual SES trim. They bought it a couple months before they had me( August 2007 ) and they sold their 95 green Neon highline manual that went a whopping 200K miles even with no clutch replacement. Hard to believe a Neon did that. They then sold the ford when it was 6 years old In 2013 with 45,000 miles, & now we have a 2010 Prius with 114,000 miles in MINT condition. And of course, I have my 2006 Matrix that I drive at autocross & take racing. It’s excellent. Only 150,000 miles, & it’s in like new condition, the interior smells exactly like fresh crispy furniture foam, I’m sure you know that smell if you’ve ever owned a 9th gen Corolla or Matrix.
