It’s true (I was the trucker)
The way Scotty was singing praises – with reservations – about the Maverick but as he suspected some kind of issue occurs. I stopped buying Ford after the 09 Fiesta’s had issues with the transmissions. Interior felt like crap as well anyways, plastic scratchy crap. I buy Asian now, usually Hyundai/Kia.

This type of crap is why I just bought a new Lexus GX460. Its utter insanity the issues this tech has been causing. With the GX, its nice knowing that its using late 90’s technology which means that everything has been worked out by now.
At least ford is recalling them unlike some other manufacturers that they recall them and dont even fix the problem or dont even recall them.

Scotty, been watching you for some years now and search your past videos for repair advice. I saw a past video where you said you sometimes use a garden hose to flush out the evaporator (I think that was it, where the low pressure and high pressure go into the vehicle dash area). What happens to the residual water in the evaporator after you flush the area out? I want to flush my Nissan frontier evaporator to see if its clogged.
