I wondered how long they were gonna keep building vehicles nobodys Buying.
I drove nothing but old cars since 1967. I drove cars from the 50s, 60s, and 70s until 2015. Now I drive a 1990 Ford F150 4.9 liter. I don't like fuel injection or serpentine belts. I might go back to the 70s except they are too expensive now.
I ❤ to hear Scotty talk. People do that with puppies and want to meet and not at there house or a business.

Point to one automotive company thats is not mismanaged!!! They all expediting 2 pallets worth of parts daily using 50 foot trailers and semi.
The Right Stuff is amazing, it's pricey but you get a lot out of a tube so I keep it an my tool cart at all times

Hopefully they’ll be able to build skyscrapers with all the dead electric cars that will be piling up in auto graveyards in the future.

I sold my ‘18 Ram 2500 Cummins and bought a ‘21 Tundra with the good ole V8.
Fords senior executives know exactly what they are doing. Ford is more concerned with environmental, social justice, and global governance initiatives than making cars. Even their EVs are crap. Its a slow rotting of the brain when you start going ESG.
Hate that new CEO. Because of him no more Ford cars for Canada and America (excluding Mustangs). Not even the sport oriented like Focus ST and RS survived. I would have gotten Focus ST if Ford still sells it but I ended up getting a 22 VW Golf GTI instead.

In my opinion Ford should step out of the way and let someone else manufacture cars.
I Personally wouldn't buy a Ford that was built after 1995 been crap ever since.
How did the production get so bad? Back 20, 30 years ago they were cranking out several different car models regularly without issue. With less technology than have now. Seems the advanced manufacturing technology forced a 1 at a time schedule.
Whenever you change any gasket, make sure you clean the area of any contaiments. Before you apply the gasket, wipe the contact surface only, and not the gaskets with Acetone. Acetone will remove any fine dust or particles that the rag left behind. One Acetone dries, installed the gasket. Myself and other mechanics I know all use Acetone. You will get a much better sealing surface. Remember Acetone is highly flammable, so becareful.
I hope the new 2024 Ranger has a larger naturally aspirated engine.
Ford and GM are really just agencies of the federal government at this point. That's why they're both so crappy.
There pick ups where good
Naturally Aspirated port fuel injection and coil on plug ignition is about as reliable as a gasoline engine can get. There are turbocharged gasoline engines in the 90s and 80s that are just as reliable too.
I just weld the transmission to the motor, grind it off when if I need to swap
