good job, it seems to be a common issue with this style of brakes not only on ford but other companies that use something similar

Nice video…I had the pin frozen too on my f350..I heated the pin head and area with a Map/Oyx torch and it loosened up.. The rubber boot can be pulled off the head before heating it.

i don’t believe i did, i can’t remember now this video was awhile ago but i think everything was aftermarket from a parts store

Chris Pasteur says:

Did you notice any uneven wear on the rotors? I’m about due for replacing my pads (and probably rotors) and I’m definitely not looking forward to spending over $400 on parts. Did you do OEM pads?

Nice video. Just about to do my rear brakes 01′ F250. I’m assuming mine are seized as well as the pad is wearing a lot more on one end than the other.

I’d drain fluid from the old caliper first instead of pushing the pistons in first as all the burnt fluid will be pushed up through the brakes lines. Suck out as much fluid from the master cylinder reservoir as you can first. Fill clean fluid. Open bleeder on caliper till it runs clean. Then push in pistons.
