touched the 12 v wire (red) now my stereo isn’t turning on, it only works
when I connect the red 12v with the yellow 12v and everytime I turn off the

equalizer..how can I fix it??

Jordan Belfort says:

i dot have a pic of the peace you pop it off saying “the main power
connector ” i need to know what that grey part at the end of the wires is
it goes in the back of the radio ?

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

It is a safty precaution.

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

Every manufacturer for aftermarket stereo has their own set of removal

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

Check ALL fuses in the vehicle.

dustin mora says:

When putting in a aftermarket stereo, what if all that will plug in is the
main power connecter and antenne?

tylerpotts97 says:

Can you make a stereo installation video? No one has them for 1994-2000
mustangs.

je_alcala says:

Dumb question here do I have to remove the negative battery cable before I
remove and install the radio

amax0692 says:

My question is, my center concole vibrates when i start reaching higher
speeds and ive placed like paper mache on the bottom but is there a way to
tightne up the console? it looks like i have to remove the streo and cd
player but what would be the right steps.

SudanUganda Musi says:

Will this work for 2003 mustang?

Dingoman013 says:

i tried the hanger idea. works like a charm

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

It is common for the cover on the connector to pull off. The cover can be
snapped back on once the connector is removed. If the cover was ripped off,
there is no need to put it back on the connector, stereo will be fine
without it. The Mustange in this video has the premium (amplified) system.
If you have the basic system, there is usually two connectors, both very
similar. All connectors have a “Key” on them, they will fit only one spot.

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

There are usually amplifiers in the Ford systems. There are several
different Ford aftermarket wire harnesses available. The right one will
work.

Nick Dunphy says:

i would suggest to put in a shelf so you could put some things in it or you
could just keep the cd player disconnected but still installed in the car

Factory Car Stereo Repair says:

Leave the CD player to fill the hole.

Luis Aguilar says:

Those hooks look kinda like a hanger would I be able to custom a hanger to
fit in the holes

Juan M says:

Thanx for the reply! I found 2 blown fuses yesterday and replaced them. My
stereo is now working correctly

bluejokerwm says:

do you have to buy a radio kit?

Jordan Belfort says:

The thing you pop off on 2:18 whats it called i ripped it and cat find that
grey harness?
