The more electric vehicles on the road, the more stress on our antiquated electrical grid system. Our grid wasn't design for electrical vehicles. With global warming, it means more electrical appliances to cool us down in the future. What does our current power plants run on? Coal, nuclear, fossil fuel, solar, wind? We're going to shift our dependency of oil from cars to power plants. Developing power plants can take YEARS due to environmental studies and red tape. I can see brownouts, blackouts and power companies telling us to cut back on electric use, plus the power companies dragging their feet, due to cost, updating the grid. Someone is going to pay for the expensive grid updating overrun(it usually is) and it will be you and I.
It seems like you’d be better off moving to a golf cart community if you are dead set on getting to zero emissions in any kind of economical manner.
Electric trucks have a big problem as they lose a lot of range when towing

The Ford corporation is going to rise again , with all the astonishing electric SUV and electric crossovers in the next couple of years ! Despite a heavy debt load , the Stock of Ford is way undervalued,and astonishingly cheap! I would swap out of Tesla stock ,and pour the receivables from Tesla into the stock of Ford !

Most of the time the companies don't even pay the fines .. There is no way for the public to see that info .. And these fines are tax deductible so it is paid in reality by the U.S. government

The price will be outrageous and the range will be a joke.
So Ford did not just made electric pickup truck…because when someone will, we all gonna see it…atm, they barely can charge and drive modelX which get 80 mile range when towing, so obviously something will have to dramatically improve. Ford can hope it will be ready 3 years from now, otherwise it will be just another attempt
The Tesla Model 3 is around 40k, rides good and super solid, pushes 200-300 miles, probably the only viable electric vehicle right now.
Can someone loan Scotty a Tesla already. He would be a fanboy in no time flat.
A few years ago I calculated that an electric car cost almost 70,000 gas miles more than an ordinary has car.
I can’t wait to see an electronic Ford truck try to ford a ford or stream… seems like a toaster in the bathtub kinda situation.
