"Save The Manuals!"

Ruthless Goat says:

Again, I would never, ever buy a new car from GM, Ford, or any other American manufacturer. Seriously, new auto quality has gotten so bad that I will repeat my vow to keep my 2006 Toyota 4Runner until I die.

HunterXray says:

5:07 I think it's not that sedans are dead necessarily, but American sedans are dead. A lot of people are buying asian sedans because they are reliable.

shane47 dawson47 says:

With money you can get anything!

TheLogicJunkie says:

Ford ending the manual transmission Mustang is exactly the reason why Japan took over the auto industry — because they aren't psychopathically conceited, sub-myopic morons. Only the super-tall Aryan frat boy nephews at companies like Ford would do something this stupid.

And of course, as George Carlin used to say, "The public sucks", and so most of the public hates any kind of more-involved driving such as with stick shifts. The vast majority of the public wants to be fed by hand with pre-chewed food and oink away on the automated life — just like the fat blob-people in the movie Wall-E.

john g says:

Sometimes I wonder about who is making decisions at the big auto makers, no more standard transmissions in hot rods, including the Corvette, really? Dumb! The Big 3 will no longer make car's, just pick ups and SUV's, just wait until the next huge gas shortage. Japanese car companies will be laughing all the way to the bank, again. Dumb!

JiTengful says:

Bloody HELL

skigdivider x says:

Nobody can shift anymore anyway.

TSC TSC says:

General Motors…..it's not American anymore.

Pickin' Fool says:

I just did a simple Google search… Ford discontinued the Shelby GT350 and the GT350R. Mustangs continue in the lineup, and the 6-speed manual is still available in certain models.

Big Boi says:

This sucks. The mustang gt350 was my favorite car and I was hoping I would get to own one when I’m old enough to drive

D S says:

Scotty, Can you tell us which is the best engine for the Corolla? The 1.8. Or 2.0?

Steven says:

Y'all are so upset about Ford ditching the Shelby manuals! You do realize that only enthusiasts bought the GT350s and that enthusiasts aren't the majority of their sales? It's not like you'll never see them again anyway. This isn't the first time Ford has ditched the Shelbys anyway. They'll bring them back at some point.

Michael Joesting says:

No surprise the American auto quality has sucked for years. Once Fords trucks start to decline that’ll be it for them.

Ace Ventura says:

Honestly, it’s a smart move. The differences in performance between the 5.0 coyote engine and the 350 is minuscule. People who truly want a cobra are going to buy a gt500. People who want a fast cheap mustang, will buy the 5.0. Not many people buy the 350, because there isn’t much reason to do so…
