How to replace your Battery FOB key from your 2017 Mustang or 2017 Explorer. Very easy. Enjoy my video.
Note: 2018 model is a little different. There’s no pull down Tab in the back. Battery # CR2450 3V.

Or use the key to twist?
I have had my car for 12719 miles before my key complained. Me thinks maybe your pants pressed on the buttons?
Thank you. I removed my two batteries but did not mark or separate them from the ones I opened.
Good thing I still had the packages and confirmed I had replaced Panasonic with Energizer batteries,
I started making the same mistake you did when reassembling.
I paused and was at first confused. I realized the key slot should be facing up and the battery had to face down.
Flipped and all was fine. No more low battery warning.
awesome video, thx much!
Key fob for 2018 Mustang is not the same. Only 1 battery and it opens differently. There is no pull down tab on the back. The battery is a CR2450 3V…
