Mike Eustice says:

Great video I use the snapon flag pickups or the stick you just have to use a mv scale on your scope but they work good for doing comparison test on the secondary firing and they pick up good on ford coils

Robert Wood says:

Great video brother . Wanted to ask how you are after reading online about possible tornadoes touching down in Pennsylvania . Prayers for you and your families safety as well as all involved .

Abdou Djaafri says:

Thank you very much. You are a wonderful person. I have a question. Always note that you are working on gasoline engines. Do you specialize in gasoline only without diesel?

Rocky Nix says:

Hey Paul did you say there was a reading on the intake temp that it was reading 40 degree,s below , could that be the reason for the high ideal speed , sensor is telling the computer that the engine is cold in which the short term is adding fuel the long term …

wysetech2000 says:

Thorough diagnosis, Paul. Video well done, Caleb. You're getting better with each video. For some reason all of the V10 Fords i work on all idle fast.

wyman lei says:

when we checking misfire data, i think we should just focus on the huge number, the reason why misfire is also occur on cylinder #3 because 3&8 are companion cylinders.

c21secco says:

I had the same issues with my 99 ford f150. no scanner here :(. I used a timing light in older style coils and spark wires. When cold it fires find rpm fine. Coil when hot C7 misfires, rattles engine, timing light off in spark wire shown. I ohm visual both coils and spark plugs wires at cold and everything was fine. At hot my timing light found cylinder 7 intermittent/dead when hot was the issue. Did a cylinder compression test at 158psi. Visual inspection boots and spark plugs fine. Even clean the coil grounds some rust. still a week coil. I need a new coil. Yep is a ford alright. Took sometime conventionally. Great video here for diagnostic scan tool like that fuse testing :D.

velocity550 says:

Thanks for going that extra mile to show us stuff we need to know.

Antegas Hindoyan says:

Like!!!! Paul.

Brad Noyes says:

24:40 31:27 Notice the color of the spark, the weak coil gave a yellow spark, where the good coil had a bright white/blue spark.

Luis Feliciano says:
