G'Day Jeff, 67, 68 corolla KE 10's had the same door lock principle. Different parts, so no help to you, mate. Good job overcoming the missing stuff !
Mad skills.
I think you can get those parts made out of Chineseium
at 8:36 you didn't add a spring that you showed at 5:12
this car is already achingly gorgeous
will the window mods clear the glass
So great to see the car going back together. Fantastic job Jeff
There are two bump stops on each side, one for the top camber arm which is a rectangular shape for the arm to rest on. And the round one underneath which you have. you may want to get the plastic inserts that go in to the caster arm bush on the camber arm.
Rack could be Suzuki Alto or Hatch
well… spending so much time making this lock part is strange, since it is not difficult nor expensive to find in the alfa restorer's world…
So amped to see the final car all together!!!
Loving the work are you going power steering or not
I still remember a few years back when you purchased the engine from the shop. I have followed your channel ever since and i have enjoyed the journey. Love your work jeff!
I used to follow your progress back in the day , almost forget about this project car and now i have almost finished rebuilding my lovely Alfa Romeo 146
That’s interesting about the door locks. I had many Sunbeam Alpines from the mid 60’s. The doors lock the same way.
Jeff, you have so many diverse skills. Impressed.
