khurramsultan2012 says:

Well done sir. Its easy to forget that these are just cars built by humans not some intergalactic alien spaceship. They are just nuts and bolts etc.

bradleja says:

$522.94!! That's the price of a full on Ferrari F-430 oil change by the dealer! Staggering!

Karina Fletcher says:

I laughed quite hard when you removed the dry sump oil bolt, you need a open top oil pan to stop that one from happening 😀

Another great video I love it. I'm not trying to be nitpicky but I noticed you didn't have wheel chocks. You should always use wheel chocks with Jack Stands it could save your life if that car lands on you you're dead

VANITY 1 says:

Well like an old saying, if you cant afford to run it, dont buy it….stop being cheap and take it to a dealer and have your oil changed…

Anton man says:

Don't worry it's just oil lol. Shit happens, use kitty liter

Boodieman72 says:

Its not how much it costs, its how much cheaper it is than going to the dealer.

Fred Garvin says:

Looks like the large drain plug is at the bottom of the sump (I'm assuming it has a dry sump). But I don't see anything to warrant the ridiculous prices Ferrari charges for basic maintenance. You obviously learned how to drain the oil without creating a mess now. But you may want to fill the new filter at least halfway before installing it. One thing that puzzles me, why do you check the oil with the motor running?

Jonathan LeBlanc says:

The vertically-oriented, large-diameter drain plugs always cause oil to shit everywhere… Gotta love gravity.

Thanks for making this video. I love to see people wrenching on interesting cars.

You're a fucking G

Suherminmak says:

I think mobil1 0-40w synthetic is the best oil in the market, I use 7 quarts cost $60 and labor $20 take it to toyota dealer.

Mrstupidcommentbelow says:

Dude I saw that oil spill coming hahahaha. That was so funny :') nice job tho

Dominic Orlando says:

protip: If your pour the oil bottle the other way around it won't glug.

RD Ridin says:

Its good that you can work on cars. I don't think I will be attempting this though when my car is due for an oil change.

DustinCorvetteZr1 says:

Rookie mistake on any dry sump oiling system the car needs to be level not only to avoid messes like that but also to ensure all the oil get out of the sump and various baffles. Look up race ramps about 400 dollars and make it easy to safely lift an expensive car about 2 ft off the ground

Nathan Thai says:

Are you a UT alum?

Cristoval Studio says:

Until now I ant see anything securing the front wheels in case the car rolls forward. And your drive way is steep too. Safety first. And the next time you pull an oil bung and it is flowing like that before you remove the bung completely let it release some of the pressure first, I would have kept the bung in for a while. Those oil catch can are too shallow.Thumbs up for working on your car, no one touches my car.

torototo says:

chek oil with engine runing????

Jim Wong says:

Idiot Limbo/Ferrair raven ,great deal $500 oil change.Penny save is Penny earn. Y can buy Oil fliter CAP/sm breaker bar $20.

Mid West says:

Oil Filter probably would have come off easier with a few mile jaunt prior to the change however that oil splash could have been disastrous. Should change your title to mishaps to avoid when changing your Ferrari F430 or Oil Change Blooper (Might kick up the views) Was informative and yes funny as well.

Valuable viewing.

Taelor Watson says:

Damn, 10 qts, pretty crazy, one of the great things about my G37 is 5.2 qts. I am tempted to do some performance items to it. Saw a video with one making 326 whp with intake, exhaust and a tune. The G37s are less expensive than the 370z's. I have a sedan which makes it more comfortable, yet I love that you can get a 370 that weighs around 3200 lbs, which with 326 whp, makes it a performance bargain. Not as sexy as the Ferrari thought..

irdi basha says:

checking the oil when the car is running? i thought the engine had to be off.

mhp237 says:

Had that been ME…….installing the drain plug….I would have dropped it into the oil drain pan below! I've done it. Nice to see You working on it. What did you save doing the oil/fltr change yourself vs the Dealer?

Pedro Evolet says:

I really adore your videos, would have some email to contact you?
