20W50 is a mighty thick oil. Is that what is recommended in the service manual?

@7:45 can you clarify, is that a metric smidgeon or imperial? In the old days it used to equate to 17 1/3rd snifters, or 4/5ths of a tad.

Plans on removing the remaining black on the 2nd head cover? And the red on the intake manifold?
Both fluids draining were a lot cleaner than I expected. I would think those drain plugs should get changed to avoid thread damage from repeated removal.
I don't bother with new crush washers. I use a dowty washer, never had a proble with one.
